is a classic production workhorse for musicians and production studios
!
This two-head, front-loading, rack-mount cassette deck is ideal for mastering and mixdown.
The direct-drive transport provides optimal tape speed stability, which keeps the wow and flutter problems found on other cassette decks to a minimum.
The front panel
has dual 1/4" Mic inputs and a
headphone jack with volume control. The rear panel has standard RCA input/output jacks plus the "Remote control" serial port
.
It uses three spaces in your rack, measuring just under 12" deep and weighs just over 15 lbs.

counter-top use as well.
Condition:
This rare deck is in excellent condition with minor signs of use and nice, bright meters! Aside from some scuffs to the lid
,
there are some scratches
to the front panel, some too faint to make out well in the pics.
All original knobs & switches are present & complete, and there is minimal scuffing to the meters & cassette door. There are some signs of previous mounting to the rack ears.
Please examine all the pictures thoroughly for actual condition.

Tape path is cleaned and heads demagnetized
Testing:
Once serviced, w
e set this up on our test bench and it powered right up with no issues whatsoever. All features and displays work as expected with the deck running smoothly, producing clear, steady audio with no distortion. A short test track was recorded and played back with no issues. No further testing was done, if there is a particular function you would like tested just let us know before buying. The manual has gone missing but no worries, it can be found online (unfortunately eBay no longer allows us to put the link in the listing for you).
